Hello Sanford family and friends! I am so proud of all of the hard work that our students and staff put in during the first semester and we are looking forward to an exciting and busy semester this spring! This new year and new semester will usher in lots of learning at Sanford Elementary! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue building strong connections with our students and school community. 

We are planning many activities for our parents and community members to be involved in at our school throughout the coming semester. We will continue our system of positive behavior support and work on continuing to build that lasting Panther PRIDE! Our Reading and English Language Curriculum (ARC) will keep moving full steam ahead, too! We are all excited about the team we have built at Sanford. We will welcome a few new faculty and staff members and we are working diligently to prepare our students to learn in the way that best fits their needs.

We always appreciate feedback that can help us grow as an administrative team and positive learning environment. It is my hope that you all continue to communicate with us about your students' needs as we work to make our school the best place for students to learn. We have a bright future at Sanford and in VAISD! Be sure to check social media to receive important announcements. Don’t forget to continue to make reading a priority for your student!
