Melody Bolton
My name is Melody Bolton and I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at Sanford Elementary! I graduated from the University of Texas-El Paso in 2010 with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education). I am a proud lifelong resident of Van Alstyne and attended Van Alstyne ISD from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Go Panthers!
My husband Trey and I have been married since 2008. After finishing up his time in the Army, we moved back to Van Alstyne in 2010 and have been here ever since!
We have two children, Cale and Caroline, who are also Van Alstyne Panthers! When I'm not at school, you can find me spending time with my family. I love photography, watching sports, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors!
Teaching is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to watch our smallest panthers grow and learn. My heart is filled with gratitude to be able to do what I love, in this community that I love so fiercely.
