Greetings Sanford family and friends! I am extremely excited for this coming school year! This year will usher in new beginnings and lots of learning at Sanford Elementary! I look forward to the opportunity to see each of you again and continue to build those relationships with our students. 

We are planning many activities for our parents and community members to be involved in throughout the coming school year. When school starts in August, we will continue our system of positive behavior support and work on continuing to build that lasting Panther PRIDE! Our Reading and English Language Curriculum (ARC) will keep moving full steam ahead, too! We are all excited about the team we have built at Sanford. We will welcome several new faculty and staff members and we are anxiously awaiting the return of our amazing students in the fall!

My first year as the principal at Sanford was amazing! I appreciate the feedback that I have received throughout the year and it is my hope that you all continue to communicate with us about your students' needs as we work to make our school the best place for students to learn. We have a bright future at Sanford and in VAISD! Be sure to check social media during the summer and look for important announcements, supply lists, and student enrollment information. Don’t forget to make reading a priority this summer!

Can’t wait to see you all on Meet the Teacher Night (8/8/22 at 5:30 pm) and on August 10 for the first day of school!
